Safari is getting a facelift with Tab Groups on the sidebar that are shared across Mac, iPad, and iPhone, cleaner toolbar, and a combined URL and search bar. MacOS Monterey also brings iOS's Shortcuts feature to the Mac that lets users easily automate routine tasks without having to do any scripting. Universal Control also allows users to drag and drop files and objects seamless between iPad and Mac. The highlight of macOS Monterey is the Universal Control feature that lets users share a single keyboard and mouse across Mac and iPads. macOS Monterey is the first macOS that comes on the heels of the recent M1-powered iMacs, and it brings all of the new features that were announced for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 at the event.
